Caleb was an awesome guide. He took the time to explain the significance of each landmark and took some incredible photos for us. Well beyond anything I expected. He was doing some really cool shots with panoramas and different styles. He took the hike to an incredible level.

Our tour was amazing. Our tour guide was very patient and caring as we had small children and aging adults. He was very knowledgeable about the canyon sharing many interesting facts and features.

I'd been here before, but a sandstorm prevented me from enjoying it as much as I did this time. The canyon is fascinating. The shapes you can capture with the camera are endless, and the photo composition possibilities are endless. The guide, Mike Calamity, is an expert at showing you how to take photos, where to find the best spots, and how to adjust your phone’s camera settings to get the best shots. The guide’s kindness and professionalism make a huge difference in getting the most out of your visit to the canyon. It’s very easy to walk through, ideal for people who have trouble going down stairs.

The visit to Antelope Canyon was one of the best of my life. I am a world traveler so that says a lot. The guide was SUPER. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating, told us the history and took many photos of the guests . He is an expert on picture taking. Before we entered the Canyon, he helped folks set their phones and cameras to get the best pictures. This is the first tour I ever took this I did not want to end!! At the end, he informed us that he was the grandson of the 8 year old girl that discovered the canyon many years ago!!

Even now, back home, I still remember my trip to Antelope Canyon... an incredible landscape with shapes and colors I'd never seen before, and the guides and organizers were top-notch. I'd do it all over again if I could. Thank you very much.

The tour was perfect for our family (small Kids) to navigate. The canyon is beautiful and our guide, Ethel, was phenomenal. She was a wealth of knowledge, a fantastic photographer, and even gave us a tutorial on the Navajo language. Highly recommend!!

An Unforgettable Day Trip — Outstanding Guide! "From the Strip to the Canyon — A Flawless Experience!" I recently did the full-day bus tour from Las Vegas to Lower Antelope Canyon, and it was hands down one of the best travel experiences I've ever had — and a huge part of that credit goes to our incredible tour guide "Mama". From the moment we boarded the bus in Las Vegas, our guide set the perfect tone for the day — warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about the destination. The long drive never felt tedious because of the fascinating commentary shared along the way about the landscape, the Navajo Nation, and the history of the canyon . But what truly stood out was the effort our guide put into making sure everyone in the group got amazing photographs. Lower Antelope Canyon's narrow corridors and the way light plays on the sandstone walls can be tricky to capture, and our tour operator expertly pointed out the best angles, lighting conditions, and spots for that perfect shot. Not stopping there, they personally went around clicking wonderful pictures of each person in the group — everyone walked away with stunning memories they could actually keep . The return journey back to Vegas was just as pleasant — the group was buzzing with excitement, swapping photos and stories. Our guide "Mama" made sure everyone was comfortable and accounted for throughout the trip. If you're visiting Las Vegas and are looking for a day trip that combines natural wonder with top-notch hospitality, look no further. I would strongly recommend this tour and this guide to anyone — 10 stars if I could! 🌟

Secret Canyon's beauty is beyond words. You have to visit this slot canyon to really appreciate how magnificent it is. I thoroughly enjoyed our local tour guide Kenni and her stories about the local clan. Plus she helped us take the best pictures.

Things to know before booking your Antelope Canyon tour

  • Access: Antelope Canyon & all its sections can only be accessed via booking a guided tour. Self-exploration is strictly prohibited. You can visit Antelope Canyon on a guided tour with a local Navajo guide present.
  • Certified tour operators: Only Navajo-certified tour operators can take guided tours of Antelope Canyon. All tours listed are with certified operators & expert Navajo guides.
  • Which slot canyon section to choose: Each canyon section offers its own unique experience & adventure, but factors like terrain & fitness level required to navigate the pathways vary. You can find a more concise overview of your Antelope Canyon tour options below .
  • If you want to explore beyond Antelope Canyon: For those who are looking for a longer tour with other options for sightseeing, you can opt for the following experiences:
    • A guided kayaking tour from Lake Powell, Page, leading you into the slot canyons via water.
    • Add a stop at Horseshoe Bend to your itinerary. The Secret Antelope Canyon tour gives you private access to the Horseshoe Bend Overlook, and all Antelope Canyon tours from Las Vegas stop at Horseshoe Bend as well.
  • Flash floods & severe weather: Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, or any threat of flash floods can lead to the cancellation of your tour.
    • When: The highest chances of this taking place are typically from June to September.
    • Why: Flash floods are extremely dangerous & water buildup from heavy rainfall poses a huge safety risk for anyone in the canyons.
    • How: Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon made with narrow passageways. Heavy rainfall leading to flash floods is the primary reason for its shape and structure. The water buildup from rain happens very quickly, and even if there is a storm upstream, there is a risk that water will flow into the slot canyons & flood the region.
  • Accessibility & health concerns:
    • Antelope Canyon tours are not wheelchair accessible.
    • They’re not recommended for people who have any respiratory, heart-related, or mobility issues.
    • Pregnant people are also advised not to participate in the tours since they are on uneven terrain and require a lot of walking & navigating.
    • Those over 60 years of age are not recommended to go on Antelope Canyon tours during the summer months (April to August) due to the rising heat.
  • Tours from Las Vegas: You can opt for a guided full-day trip from Las Vegas that includes round-trip transportation, lunch, a guided tour of Antelope Canyon (Upper , Lower , or Antelope Canyon X ), and a stop at Horseshoe Bend. This option gives you the flexibility to choose the canyon section you want to visit and a comfortable, hassle-free journey, with admission & transportation all taken care of.
  • Stargazing tour: Ligai Si Anii Canyon offers a guided 2-hour tour in the evenings, where you can travel into the canyon section & see clear views of the Milky Way lighting up the night sky from above.
  • Aerial tours:
    • Helicopter: You can also opt for a 12-minute helicopter tour that covers the Antelope Canyon region, with sights that include the Glen Canyon Dam, Horseshoe Bend, the Colorado River, and more.
    • Airplane: The airplane & ground tour is an 11-12 hour journey that starts from Boulder City Airport, Nevada, and you take the airplane sightseeing tour till Antelope Canyon, followed by a guided tour of the slot canyons. Round-trip transport & hotel pick-up is included.
