Our experience was amazing. Our guide Ethel was phenomenal and went out of her way to make sure everyone had a wonderful time. One of the guests with us had a leg amputation and the journey back was difficult and our guide ensured that she was properly taken care of. We will be back!

We had a very good time, our guide Leander was really knowledgeable about all aspects of what he was showing us. Recommended camera settings and gave insights to great photos. I hope to return to property. To be honest I didn't do to much photography, wife's department, I was walking around pretty amazed especially about the history of different canyon uses. Once again I'll be back.

Things to know before booking your tour

  • Canyon X features two main sections, one measuring 150 feet (45 meters) and the other 200 feet (61 meters) in length. It is shorter than the other two slot canyons, with Lower Antelope Canyon being 1,335 feet (407 meters) long and Upper Antelope Canyon about 660 feet (200 meters) long. The shorter hikes make Canyon X more accessible for visitors of varying fitness levels.
  • You will find the opportunity for a more intimate exploration at Antelope Canyon X since it is the least crowded among the three canyons. This is especially great for photographers who have more chances of getting unobstructed shots while capturing the canyon's beauty at a relaxed pace.
  • While Antelope Canyon X does not require climbing ladders, you will be walking on uneven surfaces so those with mobility issues will find it difficult.
  • Like other slot canyons, Antelope Canyon X is also prone to flash floods, especially during the monsoon season (July to September), when the canyon's narrow and steep walls rapidly funnel water and can be dangerous. Tour operators have implemented strict safety measures and will cancel tours in case of weather conditions that can lead to floods.
  • Antelope Canyon X is not wheelchair accessible due to its uneven terrain and narrow passages, which make navigation difficult for those using wheelchairs.
